My name is Jamie Baumgartner and I am so excited to be teaching 2nd Grade this year.  This is my 18th year of teaching in Philipsburg.  Throughout those years my experience includes - Special Education PK-12, General Education 6th,7th,8th and now Grade 2.  I couldn’t be happier.

 

I was born and raised in Butte, Montana and graduated as a Butte High School Bulldog.

Next, I acquired degrees  from Western Montana College. I have a degree in Elementary Education K-8, as well as Early Childhood Education.  I went on to further my education in Billings which is now MSUB, and received my credentials to teach Special Education.

 

My daughter, Megan, was born in 1992.  She graduated from Granite High School in 2011 and now resides in Butte.  I live in Maxville and enjoy spending time in Princeton at my family’s cabin.
