I grew up in Deer Lodge and would come to visit Philipsburg while growing up. I moved to Dillon, Montana and attended The University of Montana Western, where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after graduation my husband and I moved to West Yellowstone for three years. In West, I was a substitute teacher for a year, after that I completed my student teaching in Kindergarten and was a paraprofessional in fifth grade for a portion of the year until I went as a long term substitute for that Kindergarten class. After that year I taught seventh and eighth grade. My husband and I decided to move back to Philipsburg after West Yellowstone and I currently am the first grade teacher.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy coaching junior high volleyball, playing with my dogs and spending time with my husband and our friends.
