Dear Parents(s) / Guardian(s),
Our school district has been working on plans for reopening. We are working to do everything in our power to assure safe transportation for your children. One thing we encourage is, when possible, you transport your children to and from
Right now, we are using last year's riders to set up safely distanced bus seating assignments for the school year. If you are new to the school district, or have other children that will be going to school, I would appreciate notification by Wednesday, August 26th at or phone 461-0507.
Our routes remain the same with Denny House/Georgetown Lake, Larry Kulaski/Maxville, and Bob Todorovich/Rock Creek. As usual, please let me know or your route driver, if your children are not riding a certain day.
Just as a reminder, masks are mandatory. If parents would do a daily health screening of their children before loading the bus, that would be greatly appreciated.

Attached is the notice of the annual school board election on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 in the Granite High School Gymnasium from NOON until 8PM.
August 14, 2020
Dear Philipsburg Public Schools Community,
The School Board appreciatively approved the attached COVID-19 Response Plan on August 13th. While we know the plan does not meet everyone’s expectations it is our best effort to have school open and keep everyone as safe as possible. The flexibility this plan allows for parents and students is admirable. It is our hope that we can maintain as much ongoing flexibility as is practical and or functional.
The weekly school schedule has been adjusted to have no more than four days of onsite learning and one day dedicated for remote learning/teacher professional development per week (see attached School Calendar)
The Covid-19 mask protocols for this plan include the following:
This plan is fluid so as to meet State and County directives
Teachers will wear a mask (provided by the school) when moving around the classroom monitoring students or when they are working 1 on 1 with a student in
proximity that is less than 6ft and for a duration longer than 15minutes
When working 1 on 1 with a student, the instruction should be side to side ;rather than face to face
Students may wear a school provided mask if desired and are encouraged to wear a mask when within another person’s personal 6ft space
The school will provide one fabric face covering to each student and staff; all other face coverings can be provided by parent/guardian
This means the current mask directive from our Governor will be followed if we have four or more cases. If we have four or less than the latter mask language will apply.
In our effort to do what is best for our students and our community, we thank each of you for your continued support.
