MedStart is a multi-day immersive program for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors that supports healthcare career exploration through hands-on activities, job shadowing, classroom lectures and college prep information sessions. Additionally, students who participate in MedStart are eligible for one college credit through Highlands College. MedStart is held during the summer in Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Miles City and Missoula (dates vary by location). Tuition for MedStart is $500 and scholarships are available. Heads Up
Heads Up is a multi-day immersive program for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors that supports behavioral health career exploration through hands-on activities, classroom lectures, and college prep information sessions. Students who participate in Heads Up are certified in Teen Mental Health First Aid which provides them with the skills to support peers experiencing mental health challenges. Heads Up is held in Helena at Carroll College and is schedule for July 27th-31st. As a result of generous funding from the Office of Public Instruction, Heads Up is free to all students and travel stipends are also available. Please click here to start your application.
