Hello Granite School District families!
We hope you and your students have had a wonderful school year and are excited for summer!
Throughout this school year, the Board of Directors has been working on a Five-Year Strategic Plan that will provide us direction and goals along with action plans to be accomplished each year. Attached is the current draft of the Strategic Plan. I would like to give you all a chance to review the plan and provide your feedback and suggestions for the Board to review. This is your opportunity to help us improve the infrastructure, staffing, instruction, and culture of our school district. Together we can use this Strategic Plan to make Granite School District an incredible place for everyone to work and learn.
We will review feedback from the community at the board meeting on June 19th and finalize the plan to go into effect on July 1, 2025. The plan will run on the fiscal year to fit with our budgeting process and actions to be completed during the school years.
Please send all your comments, questions, and suggestions to kulaskig@pburg.k12.mt.us no later than June 16th so I can compile them for the June 19th board meeting.

Coaching contracts are offered on a contracted season basis only. Philipsburg School District's Board of Trustees votes annually on coaching contracts, and there is no expectation of continued employment from one season to the next. It is the practice of the District to offer coaching positions in-house, to current staff members, before opening the position to the general public. Any coach hired who is not currently a full-time employee of the District is not considered an in-house employee.
Don't forget to sign up your athletes for our upcoming volleyball camp!

Sports Physicals are available for walk-ins at Granite County Medical Center on Thursday, May 29th from 2-5.

Parents,
A student sent a text message from school to a student home stating a student was stabbed at school. The police and administrators cleared the buildings and are now investigating.
All students are safe.
