A student sent a text message from school to a student home stating a student was stabbed at school. The police and administrators cleared the buildings and are now investigating.

Philipsburg Schools Junior High Spring Athletic Meeting Notice
Parents,
Monday, May 19th 2025, GHS will be hosting a JH athletic meeting for all incoming 5th-8th grade students and parents at 5:00pm in the GHS cafeteria in preparation for fall 2025. At 5:30 Brett Graybeal will be speaking to 5-8th grade Philipsburg students interested in playing tackle football with Drummond next fall.

Coaching contracts are offered on a contracted season basis only. Philipsburg School District's Board of Trustees votes annually on coaching contracts, and there is no expectation of continued employment from one season to the next. It is the practice of the District to offer coaching positions in-house, to current staff members, before opening the position to the general public. Any coach hired who is not currently a full-time employee of the District is not considered an in-house employee.
