Yesterday evening, the 6th grade class celebrated a major milestone as they completed their final year of elementary school and prepared to move on to 7th grade in the high school next year. It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, memories, celebration, and reflection on how much these students have grown throughout the year.
This group of students has worked incredibly hard academically, socially, and personally, and I could not be more proud of each and every one of them. Watching them learn, grow, overcome challenges, and become more confident in themselves has truly been an honor. They have accomplished so much this year, and I know their futures are incredibly bright.
As part of their final social studies project, students created and performed skits during the ceremony. They put so much creativity, teamwork, and effort into these projects, and it was so much fun watching them share their hard work with family and friends. These skits will be made available online soon!
Congratulations to the 6th grade class on this exciting accomplishment and milestone. I am so proud of all of their hard work and cannot wait to see all they achieve in the years to come.
Best,
Ms. Walkley
